As part of its At the Heart of YourCommunity program, the Mutual company is inviting its insured members to submit an inspiring project from an organizationdedicated to supporting the well-being of its community. Selected organizationswill receive funding to support their projects.

Association Garagona (Frelighsburg and area) “Garagona en mouvement: un trajet solidaire”: The goal of this project was the purchase of an adapted van to meet the needs of people living with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder.
Jessica Ruel, Artist and Illustrator (Granby and area)Purchase of sensory furniture and accessories adapted for children with special needs to facilitate their participation in creative workshops.
Centre d’action bénévole de Saint-Césaire (Saint-Césaire and area)Renovation of the community centre to make it more efficient and accessible.
École de la Haute-Ville — Groupe PAV (Granby and area) “Bien s’alimenter, cuisiner et bouger pour la santé!”: A program to teach young people living with autism spectrum disorder to adopt healthy lifestyles.
École de la Haute-Ville — Groupe DIM/Indigo (Granby and area) “Nos amis les bêtes”: An animal therapy program that helps young people living with autism spectrum disorder develop their language and self-confidence.
Apprendre en coeur (MRC des Jardins de Napierville) “Lire en coeur” is a program to print children’s story books and organize readings by volunteer authors at libraries, volunteer centres and other community facilities.
Le Passant (MRC de La Haute-Yamaska et Brome-Missisquoi)Installation of air conditioning in the sleeping quarters at the shelter for men in difficulty. The goal is to help ensure they sleep better and positively influence interpersonal relations, which ultimately facilitates their reintegration into society.
Huntingdon Farmers’ Market (MRC Haut-St-Laurent) “Mobilité du marché fermier”: Purchase of a trailer and accessories to make the market mobile so that it can offer fresh produce from local producers in several municipalities.
Cowansville Volunteer Centre (Cowansville and area) Equip the community kitchen to support an anti-waste project that aims to use surplus food from market gardeners and retailers to prepare meals for distribution at the food bank and provide culinary training.
