GROUPE PROMUTUEL IS PROUD TO RECOGNIZE THE WORK OF CRAFTSMEN IN THE AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY
Quebec City, January 15, 2014 – For a 23rd consecutive year, Groupe Promutuel is proud to renew its partnership with the ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) in the 125th edition of the Ordre national du mérite agricole contest.

As partner in the Ordre national du mérite agricole contest, Groupe Promutuel is pleased to highlight the remarkable work of these craftsmen,” said Omer Bouchard, the Group’s Chairman of the Board.
This year’s contest is targeting the Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Nord-du-Québec, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Côte-Nord regions. Five mutual companies serve this territory: Promutuel Rouyn-Noranda – Témiscamingue, Promutuel L’Abitibienne, Promutuel du Lac au Fjord, Promutuel du Littoral and Promutuel de l’Estuaire.
Promutuel Merit in prevention
Groupe Promutuel places major importance in prevention in the world of agriculture. That is why, in 1993, it introduced the Promutuel Merit in prevention award to recognize the excellence of farmers and highlight their farm safety measures.
