Promutuel Assurance proud to be a major partner of the Québec farms open day
Québec City, August 18, 2014 — Promutuel Insurance is very proud to join the Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) for a second consecutive year in presenting the Journée Portes ouvertes sur les fermes du Québec on Sunday, September 7.
This event, now in its 12th edition, gives people from all over Québec the opportunity to meet with many of their local farm producers. Around one hundred farms will open their doors to the public free of charge and be hosting a range of fun activities. The grand agricultural festival will also be back at Parc Jean-Drapeau this year.
This event is a perfect fit for Promutuel Insurance’s homegrown roots and values, and the insurer is pleased to be a part of making this day happen. “Our organization grew right from the agricultural sector, and we’re proud of our roots. Farm producers are our customers, and it is thanks to their skills that Quebecers can enjoy access to such a variety of quality produce,” said Omer Bouchard, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promutuel Insurance.
