Promutuel Insruance proud to be title sponsor of 2014 Omnium du Québec golf open
Quebec City, April 30, 2014 — Promutuel Insurance is very proud to announce it will be supporting Quebec’s professional golf association, the Association des golfeurs professionnels du Québec (AGP du Québec) in organizing and hosting this year’s Promutuel Insurance Omnium du Québec open tournament. This world-class event will take place at the Golf de la Faune course in Quebec City from June 30 to July 6, 2014.
“We are very proud to be joining forces with AGP du Québec to bring back this prestigious event after a 20-year absence. The event will put Quebec—the city and the province—in the media spotlight. Dating back to 1909, this professional golf tournament is the second oldest in Canada. More than 150 golfers from across Canada and the United States will be competing for the title this year. A major TV and radio advertising campaign will be rolled out in the lead-up to the event, which will be broadcast on TV by TVA Sports.
“Golf is an increasingly popular sport in Quebec, and Promutuel Insurance is delighted to play a role in reviving the Omnium du Québec. This is something professional golf fans will be very happy about.
