Promutuel Insurance offers insured members car insurance premium relief
Québec City, April 9, 2020 - Promutuel Insurance is proud to contribute to the collective effort to support the communities it serves. In the wake of the government announcement extending the lockdown to May 4, it will offer insured members relief on their car insurance premium for personal and commercial vehicles.
The move is also an effort to help essential workers who are still driving because of the nature of their work. We commend and thank them for everything they are doing for the greater good. The program will run for three months and the amount will depend on how much less a vehicle is being driven. To be eligible, member insureds must fill out a form on the Promutuel Insurance website by June 5. People without Internet access can call their mutual insurance association directly or their broker. Relief will be disbursed in the next few weeks. Full details will be available on our website soon.
Donate your relief
Insured members who are so inclined can donate their relief to a local community organization, to be selected by their mutual association. There is a space to indicate this on the form.

Other ways we are helping
Promutuel Insurance has taken a number of other actions to help insured members navigate this period of upheaval in their daily lives. We are relaxing our premium collections policy for insured members directly affected by the pandemic and have beefed up some of our coverage to further support members suffering losses.
