January was marked by Promutuel Insurance’s sustained presence at key events in Québec’s agricultural industry. At three different trade shows, our experts had the opportunity to talk to attendees, advise them on our tailored coverage, and reaffirm our commitment as the province’s leading agricultural insurer.
A prominent presence at the Salon de l’agriculture de Saint-Hyacinthe
The 39th Salon de l’agriculture de Saint-Hyacinthe, held from January 14 to 16, 2025, was once again a must-attend event for over 13,500 industry professionals. This major event gave visitors the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in the industry, network, and attend informative talks.
With over 250 exhibitors from the field crops, machinery, livestock, and other sectors, the show is a veritable showcase of Québec’s agricultural know-how. Promutuel Insurance was proud to be there to offer personalized advice and share its expertise in agricultural coverage.
A new partnership with SAAC
We were honoured to work with Agriculture, Food Sciences and Consumer Science Week (SAAC), which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year on January 17, 18, and 19. The event is a model of leadership and cooperation that brings together experts, businesses, and enthusiasts from the world of agriculture. Organized by agronomy students from Université Laval, this week is an opportunity to highlight the various issues facing the agricultural sector and actively contribute to training its next generation, which Promutuel Insurance is proud to support!
SIMAQ: Eastern Canada’s must-attend event
On January 30 and 31 and February 1, Promutuel Insurance also took part in SIMAQ (Québec City’s agricultural industry and machinery trade show), the largest indoor trade show dedicated to agriculture in eastern Canada. The 2025 edition, held at ExpoCité’s Centre de foires in Québec City, broke attendance records, with over 8,000 visitors exploring the 1,550 booths on site.
